VISIT.
  • Wander around el Borne and go see the Cathedral. Do some shopping and have a coffee and some tapas in the area!

  • In this area we would recommend visiting Valldemossa, Deia, Soller and Puerto de Soller. All these towns are very close to one another so you can do a whole day around them.

A good day plan could be to start in Valldemossa, have a coffee and walk around its tiny streets. Then head to Deia around lunch time, after lunch go to Soller and finish in Puerto de Soller with a swim and a nice dinner. On your way to Soller you can stop at Hotel Corazon for an after lunch cocktail with views.

  • Alcudia is a very small town. We like going for an afternoon walk to the old town, inside the historical walls, around 6 or 7pm when the heat has come down and you can sit and have a beer.

  • Pollensa is a very beautiful town. Start at the main square and walk all your way up to the very top of the stairs to the Calvari (don’t worry, you’ll find the steps). Once up, turn right to the lookout. We recommend doing this later in the evening for sunset and then going out to dinner and ice-cream around town.

  • Santanyi is one of Mallorca’s most well-known towns. It is on the other side of the island and we would recommend going on a market day (Saturdays). Get there in the morning and wander around the markets, go to a cala in the area for a swim and go for lunch to a beach club.

SWIM.
  • Probably one the most iconic beaches in Mallorca. While during the day it gets very busy, we would 100% recommend going for an afternoon swim around 5.30pm. Then, on the way back, enjoy sunset from the Colomer lookout.

  • 10 minutes away from Pollensa, Cala San Vicente has one of the nicest swims. Jump in the water and explore the area swimming. We love the little cala called Calla Carbó (very rocky though).

  • If you are doing a day around the Tramuntana mountains, we definitely would recommend going for a swim at Puerto de Soller and enjoy the picturesque scenery. Another beautiful swim is Cala Deia. It gets very busy but definitely worth checking it out.

  • Cala S’Illot is probably one of the least known of this list. We love going here to spend the morning and then head up to the chiringuito (beach restaurant) for lunch! We’d suggest always booking a table.

  • You can only access these two by boat. If you rent one, we highly recommend them. They are very close to Pollensa and you will, surely, not be dissapointed.

HIKE.

CALA BOQUER.

Cala Boquer hike starts at Puerto Pollensa. It is a very easy flat walk that, in only 30-40 minutes, takes you to Cala Boquer, which you can only access either hiking or by boat. You’ll share the cala with some lovely Mallorcan goats (if you have food… watch out for your bags!).

SA FORADADA.

This might be the one we like the most. It is a longer and more challenging hike. Start at the very top from the lookout and finish down where the hole in the wall is. Go for a swim and back up! We recommend doing this to finish up at the top with sunset enjoying a beer from the lookout bar.

CALA SAN VICENTE.

Just 10 minutes away from Pollensa, Cala San Vicente has multiple hikes you can do. We loved the Puig de l'Aguila one. All Trails will guide you through it :)
